“Play is the highest form of research” – Albert Einstein
Play is the language of children. Play Therapy is a way to provide opportunities for your child to explore, learn and process events, thoughts and feelings using their language of play. At Resilience Play Counseling Center LLC we use a variety of play-centered approaches to support individuals in learning how to express themselves freely and in healthy ways, to learn how to solve problems and resolve issues related to issues such as trauma exposure, behavior concerns and emotional dysregulation. Therapeutic play can also be used in adolescents and adults to provide an expressive outlet to process past experiences or overwhelming emotions at times when words fail.
